You might have never heard of a health coach, or maybe you have and not sure what they are, or what they do. The job of a health coach is to help people enact basic, health-supportive modifications and habits. I work with clients on their personal journey and goals because health is not a one-size-fits all. I help and empower people to figure out the best strategies that fit their personal lifestyle.
These might include:
- Developing strategies to incorporate more physical activity
- Adding in more fresh fruits and vegetables and drinking more water to crowd out sugar, processed grains, and caffeinated beverages
- Learning to nurture good relationships
- Identifying career aspirations and developing strategies to actualize these goals and deepening spiritual practices through meditation, nature, or religion to enhance self-fulfillment
My job is to help you on your personal journey. Be that personal support that you need to help you get where you want to be. Everyone is unique and different in their own personal health goals. I work with you on your individual needs.
Most doctors these days don’t offer nutrition or health support, which can leave most people feeling lost or confused. I can help you fill in the blanks where they left off.
I will teach clients to be self-sufficient and help them choose health-promoting behaviors that work for them on their own!
Because isn’t that the ultimate goal? To be able to figure this health stuff on your own!? That’s my job to help you get to this place.
I have no government or food industry influence. I base all my recommendations on my personal experience as well as science and experimental. I combine holistic with traditional health concepts of both ancient and modern practices, when appropriate.
